| | ELFE, s.r.o. is located in Krnov, district of Bruntál and founded 1st February 1993. Its establishment is connected with the process of dissolution of state public enterprises and a wave of establishment of jointstock and limited liability companies. Engineering firm ELFE, s. r. o. made use of the opportunity, gained business contacts in new markets and started to produce machine parts and equipment for new clients. In the beginning, the production was run in rented halls, on machines which were later bought by ELFE.
Since its establishment in 1993 production of ELFE has gone through continuous development a number of changes: - 1993 – 1999
- Production of billboards and actual development and production of wet process hide
- Production of grinding machines to rolling mills for metallurgical
- 2000 – 2006
- Special components of different materials for health care facilities
- Production of technological demanded components and products for machines for superior highwall mining such as push-beam conveyor for open-pit mine, male and female augers, PTM, baseframes for mining machines
- Products and parts for rolling mills used in metallurgical plants
- Base frames for air-conditioning system
- 2005 – 2007
- Spooling gears, deck machinery, winches for anchor handling vessels, fairleads for guiding the wire rope or chain from the vessel toward the anchor for yards, ship owners and oil companies and offshore such as extractive sea platforms
Introduction of System of Quality Assurance corresponding to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 in January 2005, Introduction of Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials corresponding to ČSN EN ISO 3834
Investment into increasing of production capacity, reconstruction of production halls A, B and sanitary facilities, building a new production hall C, purchase of machinery in February 2006.

- At present, the company carries on its expansion activities. It is building new halls D, E and F and an office building in a total investment 8 mil. €.
